About the project

The overall project goal is the contribution to the improvement of engineering education in Afghanistan through building partnerships between European and Asian higher education institutions.

The Asia-Link Programme was launched as initiative of the European Union to foster networking and cooperation at regional and international level between higher education institutions within EU member states and Asia countries. Asia is one of the key partners for the EU from the politics, culture as well as economic point of view. Higher education and support to research institutes were identified as two main priorities of EU-Asia cooperation
